Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including therapeutic day schools. I have a deep passion for working with children struggling with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Behavior Issues, Blended Families, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Emotional Regulation. Parenting, Autism Spectrum and more.
Navigating grief with children and adolescents can be challenging, it is a deep personal journey with no “right way” to mourn the loss of a loved one. I believe in providing a safe place where children and adolescents feel comfortable in processing their emotions and thoughts around their experience; by providing compassion, empathy, and support. I help guide clients in embracing the freedom to feel their emotions, allowing themselves the right to express how they’re mourning.
I incorporate art with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and client centered approach to help aid them in finding empowerment and resilience within themselves. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is crucial to success and I will approach each client with curiosity, kindness, and a non-judgmental attitude so that we can work together to explore, gain a deeper understanding of life’s struggles, process, and develop a plan to help move forward. I have a passion in helping children find their voice and confidence to advocate for themselves. I look forward to being a passenger on your child’s journey to personal growth!
