Brooke (she/her/hers) is an experienced counselor specializing in helping children and adolescents ages 5+ with anger-management, aggression, behavioral issues, trauma, anxiety, and phobias. She has a CAMS-I certification as an anger management specialist. Additionally, Brooke also works with young adults looking to manage stressful life events, adjustments/transitions, and relationship challenges.
Brooke is a licensed professional counselor that works with children, adolescents and young adults. Brooke received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Illinois State University as well as a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago.
In therapy, she utilizes client-centered, trauma informed, cognitive behavioral therapy perspectives as well as eclectically pulling together many other types of therapeutic practices and approaches to fit the individual needs of the client and to initiate change in a positive and empathetic way.
