



Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Sport Performance Consultant who is committed to helping athletes build confidence, resilience, and mental skills to navigate competition, pressure, and sport transitions. As a former high-level athlete and coach, she understands firsthand the discipline, focus, and mental endurance required to perform in competitive environments and integrates this lived experience into her work.
Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Sport Performance Consultant who is passionate about supporting athletes navigating the mental pressures of competition and the challenges that can arise during or after a competitive career. She works with athletes to strengthen their mental performance skills,helping them build confidence, resilience, and a healthier relationship with their sport.
As a former high-level athlete, Kate understands firsthand the discipline, focus, and mental endurance required to perform in competitive environments. She integrates this lived experience into her work, allowing her to connect authentically with athletes and guide them in developing the mindset needed to perform at their best.
She competed at the Division I level as a member of the women’s rowing team at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, contributing to a Big Ten Championship 1st place boat finish during her collegiate career. Her athletic background also includes competing as a multi-sport high school athlete and later serving in coaching roles, experiences that continue to inform her work with athletes today.
Kate is also particularly passionate about helping athletes reclaim their narrative after difficult experiences in sport, including environments shaped by negative or overly critical coaching. Having personally experienced the impact that this type of coaching can have on an athlete’s relationship with their sport, she is dedicated to helping athletes rebuild confidence,rediscover their love for the game, and move forward in ways that align with their values and goals.
In addition to her clinical and sport performance work, Kate has remained connected to athletics through mentoring and coaching youth athletes and has been recognized for academic and leadership excellence, including being named a semi-finalist for the Fulbright U.S.Student Program focused on health, well-being, and sport at the University of Stirling in Scotland. Through her work, Kate strives to create a supportive space where athletes feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive both in sport and beyond.
